The Brewery Lofts

Located in the heart of downtown Packwood, the Brewery Lofts sit atop our favorite watering hole: Packwood Brewing Co.! The two, newly renovated apartments look out over the center of our mountain town. The light-filled Valley Loft gazes south and down the rolling hills of the Cowlitz River valley. The north-facing Tahoma Loft takes in an epic view of Mt Rainier and the surrounding peaks from a private balcony above our beer garden.

The Brewery Lofts are warm and welcoming; it’s as if we had our own families in mind when we outfitted them. We wanted to honor the bones and the character of our historic building while adding integrity and comfort to the experience of your stay. We designed the interiors with a bright and textural aesthetic - think urban modern meets old mill town vibes. The open layout floor plans prioritize togetherness and memory making. In addition to the large kitchen island and comfortable living room seating, each loft features an extra run of bar height counter space under the windows, making for a perfect workstation or breakfast bar that is flooded with amazing natural light. Each loft is also dog friendly and provides a dog bed and dog dishes so you can bring the whole family. We honored our area in the details - ax handle door pulls and handmade rustic timber furniture pieces are a few of the ways that these spaces reflect the expansive forests that surround us. We’ve even highlighted local art throughout the spaces in celebration of our community.

Enjoy proximity to the Packwood Timberland Library and park (the Farmer’s Market takes place there in the summertime), the beautiful school building and grounds next door at White Pass Country Museum, and the intersection of Main Street and US Highway 12 for walkable access to the Packwood Visitor Center, Packwood Post Office, coffee shops, the grocery store and downtown dining and shopping. And of course, the brewery downstairs offers the convenience of good times, great beer and easy eats in a lively, fun atmosphere - our retreat in the center of it all! There is plenty of street parking around the brewery to accommodate guests.

Situated along US Highway 12, the Brewery Lofts are a convenient and comfortable base camp for all seasons.  We’re only 13 miles from the Stevens Canyon Entrance to Mt Rainier National Park and 20 miles to White Pass Ski area. For even more recreational opportunities, connect to the Pacific Crest Trail by way of Packwood Lake and explore the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Goat Rocks Wilderness just outside of town. That is the tip of the iceberg as far as outdoor adventuring is concerned - trust us!

The VAlley Loft

The Valley Loft is an 850 square foot apartment with an open kitchen/dining/living area, two bedrooms and one bathroom that comfortably sleeps 4 guests. Of our two apartments, the Valley Loft is the more family-friendly loft with a custom kids corner stocked with toys and art supplies. A private downstairs landing with outdoor seating provides the opportunity to hangout in the morning sun or with an evening brew.

The Tahoma Loft

The Tahoma Loft is an ideal hang out spot, with 950 square feet of comfortable indoor living space that carries outside onto a private balcony with outdoor seating above our beer garden. With two bedrooms, one bathroom and a spacious open kitchen/dining/living area, the Tahoma loft comfortably sleeps 4 guests. But the real gem of this apartment is its incredible view of Mt Rainier which can be admired from the balcony as well as the living room and front bedroom windows.
